English Language Training

It is increasingly important to communicate effectively with US allies across the globe. A common language and cultural understanding form the foundation of security cooperation and are key elements in developing truly interoperable forces.

In the wake of diminishing foreign military financing, and an increasing cost for International Military Education and Training (IMET) Courses, Security Cooperation Organizations may find it fiscally difficult to achieve their goals. ACS recognizes the need to build and sustain a force with the right blend of culture and foreign language capabilities to facilitate full spectrum operations now and in the future.

ACS offers a full suite of training, services, and administrative support tailored to public sector clients that deliver English language training programs to foreign personnel. These training programs seek to simultaneously increase English language proficiency of foreign nation personnel as well as develop the cultural awareness and understanding of the teams implementing the program. Working with organizations to capture requirements and objectives, ACS develops tailored training materials, programs of instruction, and instructors as needed, to build and implement English language training programs to Partner Nations. This can include stand alone training or integration into existing mobile training team or other platforms. We can build and sustain effective training packages ranging from 3 weeks to multiple years.

Our programs are uniquely designed to present opportunities for cooperation, mutual understanding, and friendship within a fiscally strained environment, while providing an effective way to meet Country Security Cooperation Plan requirements. Our Training materials focus on facilitating interactive discussions on a variety of personal, social, and military topics to foster greater intercultural awareness and familiarity among participants. ACS can customize a tailored training program building off loosely standardized framework components and the discussion content they are intended to facilitate. These include:
